Victorian Hunt and Roskell Garnet, Emerald, Seed Pearl Bracelet in Original Box

Item No. 330

Hunt and Roskell was founded in 1843 after being opened as a business since 1819 under varying names. The company served as royal jewelers and goldsmiths and had some of the most talented jewelers of the day working for them with a shop on the famous New Bond Street in London. This piece comes in its original fitted box, but has had one addition made to add length, (the largest flower clasp at the back with the central emerald) however it is quite hard to tell at all without the box itself acting as the guide. The bracelet is set with 3 large cabochon garnets while 4 emeralds and 8 seed pearls made up the remainder of the frontal design. Seed pearls are set in a single line  until the clasp, which is just as beautiful as the font. The clasp is 3 pearl set flowers, two with garnet centers are one with an emerald center. The bracelet is all in yellow gold and set closed back. c.1840s.
