A magnificent example of early Victorian jewelry both in quality and symbolism. A ring like this would have been a very personal piece with is hidden locket compartment underneath the head. The ring is blue enamel topped by a stylized daisy set with 8 rose cut diamonds. The daisy has had many meanings throughout history, but major themes include innocence and virtue. The enamel is surrounded with rose cut diamonds. The rose cut diamonds are set in silver and the ring is 15K gold.
