Georgian Garnet Necklace

This necklace, dating to c.1830, has 35 oval shaped, foiled back rhodolite garnets. The garnets has a lovely deep red raspberry color. Each is set in in rose gold. Necklaces like these were often used as teething toys for young children. The back shows evidence of this.
